That Spooky month of October, this way comes, and along with it, the Goldenaires “Phantom Friday” Halloween Lunch on Friday The Thirteenth of October 2023 at 12:30 pm! It will be a Freaky Friday filled with Fun, Food and Phantasms! So, put away your triskaidekaphobia (fear of the number 13), face your fears and come join us for a little Hocus Pocus and Tricks & Treats!
Dracula and friends invite you to sit a Spell and Have a Bite with us – Chef Roberto Soriano of Blueberry Hill Caterers is Brewing up a Ghoulmet Feast for you to sink your Fangs into. MENU (subject to transformation): Antipasto Vegetable Platter, Homemade Spinach Dip & Sliced Salami, Caesar Salad, Meat Lasagna, French Bread & Butter and Homemade Cheescake w/ Boo-berry topping. Don’t forget to bring your own little Cauldron (container) to take home any food that hasn’t Disappeared from your plate. Gobblin’ Time will begin at 12:30 pm (** doors open at 12/12:15pm, people who are mobility challenged will be allowed to enter the auditorium first). Seating is first come, first served, but no need to Fly in like a Bat Out of Hell - all seats are Fa-Boo-lous! Hot brews of Tea and Coffee are included with your Magical Meal, but you can also Summon Up other Potions at the Boo Pub, like soda pop and iced tea, for $2.00 each! Ghosts (13+ yrs) are welcome to attend for only an additional $5.00 (if non-members).
Be sure to appear in an Altered State! We want you to have an Out of Body experience and participate in our tricky Phantastic Costume Contest! Use your White or Black Magic, and your most creative Transformation Spells, and then reveal your new Metamorphosis in our Masquerade Parade! You will be judged! The cateGORIES are: Most Original Costume, Most Scary Costume, Most Rib-Tickling Costume, Most Boo-tiful Costume, Most Fun Costume, Witchiest Witch and Best Costume. We can’t wait to see your WitchCRAFTINESS and ARTifice!
Also, another Treat! Fellow Goldenaire, Joann Saltzgaber, and Tom Finch will Reappear and put us under their Spell with their Wicked Good music! We hope to Scare up a lot of Party Ghosts!
