Come and enjoy a fun day at a working goat farm in Pescadero-Harley’s Farm Goat Dairy. The day begins with a 90-minute tour and includes time in the pen with the very friendly herd, a visit to the milking parlor, and a walk around the property with your guide who can discuss what it means to manage a working farm. Kidding season begins mid-February and often goes until June. It is a particularly fun time to be at the farm! The tour involves soft, uneven ground and may not be easy for all, so plan for this to be a walking tour and wear good walking shoes. There are benches located around the farm where you can take a break. There is also a Farm Shop for your shopping pleasure with many choices between their award-winning cheeses, jams, jellies, oils and more created in their Farm Kitchen, along with their Bath & Body products line. We will depart the Farm at 12:30pm and head to Half Moon Bay for a HOSTED lunch at Miramar’s Restaurant. MENU (selection at time of signups): 1) Fish & Chips-beer battered Alaskan Cod with French Fries, 2) Hamburger with cheese served with French Fries or Potato Salad, 3) Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos served in Corn Tortillas, 4) Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich served with onion rings.
